Bob and I worked together on bringing modern telecom services to Alaska’s villages in the 1970s. I arrived in Alaska in 1970, and Bob came a few years later. He’s one of four Alaska telecom “heroes” whose stories I told in my book “Finding Alaska’s Villages: And Connecting Them.”
We need more like those guys!
