Bob Seitz just returned from Kauai where he spent time checking out the electric utility and how they are incorporating various renewables into their system.  We’ll discuss this and also discuss Alaska’s application of renewables.

John Owens will also discuss the health of the section discuss what we can do to encourage more involvement from the membership.

We can also discuss the Alaska economy and how it has impacted engineering in the state.
