Standing Committees

The IEEE Alaska Section has the following standing committees which are filled by appointment by the Chair, from among members who volunteer.

The standing committees are:(potential positions are indicated)(Where there are no volunteers for chair of a standing committee the Section Chair serves as chair until the position is filled.)

Each committee should at least have a chair.  There are a number of positions for each committee developed to permit the load to be shared.  Some positions are very specialized to minimize the burden on each volunteer.  Other positions besides those presented here may also be designed where there is a need and a volunteer.

Most of these can be performed from your home, with infrequent attendance at Section ExCom meetings.

ANYONE INTERESTED IN VOLUNTEERING FOR ANY OF THESE POSITIONS, OR IF YOU HAVE SOME ACTIVITY YOU WOULD LIKE TO VOLUNTEER FOR CONTACT   seitzak@ieee.org
