To all our IEEE Albuquerque Section members.

Every year our Section provides limited monetary funds to support activities that promote the mission of the IEEE. The amount of these funds come from our annual budget which depends on Section membership. IEEE-associated student branches, chapters, joint chapters, affinity groups, and societies have been the traditional recipients of these funds. Other organizations and individuals may also apply for funds for activities supporting IEEE activities and objectives. These funds are normally limited to $500 a year and may require matching funds from another organization to be considered for funding. Organizations or individuals interested in applying for funds are required to fill out the funding request form and submit it to the Section officers for consideration. Each submitted request is discussed at our monthly meetings and either accepted or rejected based on a vote by the Section officers who may request additional information from the requester if needed before voting.

If you or your organization is interested in applying for funds from the IEEE Albuquerque Section, please fill out the funding request form along with any additional supporting information and send by email to our Chair, Jason Neely (jneely at sandia dot gov), or our Treasurer, Gilberto Zamora (g.zamora at ieee dot org) for consideration.
