CONFERENCE REGISTRATION FEES

In order to participate in the activities of APPEEC 2018, at least one author of each paper must register for the conference. Non-student’s registrants cover a maximum of two (2) papers per registration with a limit of 6 pages per paper. Each additional page will incur an additional fee of USD40 per page. Payments of conference registration fees must be made by 1st September 2018, otherwise your paper will not be included in the proceedings.

 

ITEMS INCLUDED IN THE CONFERENCE REGISTRATION FEE (NORMAL/EARLY BIRD)

Conference registration fee (Normal/Early Bird) includes a copy of the conference proceedings (in a USB Drive or equivalent); admission to all tutorials, technical sessions, morning and afternoon tea/coffee breaks, lunches and conference gala dinner.

 

EARLY REGISTRATION (EARLY BIRD)

Authors who make their payment before 15th August 2018 will benefit from the Early Bird Registration rate.

 

IEEE MEMBERS REGISTRATION

IEEE members will receive a discount on the APPEEC 2018 registration fee. Members are required to indicate their IEEE membership number during registration (please update your EDAS profile) and to bring along their current IEEE membership card for verification at the conference.

 

STUDENT RATES

Participants are eligible for student rate if he/she is a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate student. Students must email the scanned copy of their ‘Student Identification Card’ to appeec2018@gmail.com. Participants must bring along their Student Identification Card and/or IEEE Membership Card to the conference for verification. Only one (1) paper per person per-registration is allowed under this rate. An IEEE graduate student member also qualifies for student member rate. Student registration fee (Normal/Early Bird) includes a copy of the conference proceedings (in a USB Drive or equivalent); admission to all tutorials, technical sessions, morning and afternoon tea/coffee breaks, lunches. An ADD-ON fee for the conference gala dinner is required.

 

PAYMENT OF REGISTRATION FEES

Registration fees are payable in United States Dollars (USD) using credit cards via the EDAS APPEEC 2018 registration website at https://edas.info/r24256.

Payments in Ringgit Malaysia can also be made via wire transfer or interbank giro (IBG)/instant transfer or deposit of cheque/bank draft payable to the following:

All bank charges are to be borne by the participant and notification with proof of payment made in Ringgit Malaysia as described above is to be emailed to the APPEEC 2018 Finance Chair (appeec2018@gmail.com). Failure to do so may result in delay in confirmation of registration. Payments made are NOT refundable.

 

NO-SHOW AND ORIGINALITY POLICY

Please take note that IEEE has a strict policy on “NO-SHOW”. The IEEE has implemented policies to exclude authors who do not present their paper from further distribution of their publication, such as exclusion from IEEE Xplore. Therefore, one of the authors or their representatives MUST present the paper at the event.

Papers that have >30% similarity index will be rejected

 

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations must be notified in writing (e-mail is sufficient) to the Conference Secretariat. Any cancellation made within 30 days from the conference date will be subjected to a 50% cancellation charge. As an alternative to cancellation, your registration may be transferred to another person without incurring any cost penalty. No refund can be made after 20th September 2018. The Conference Secretariat must be advised in writing of any alterations or transfers.
