IEEE Atlanta 2019 Spring Banquet

It’s that time again! Join us at our annual spring banquet as we celebrate IEEE Atlanta’s accomplishments in 2018 and look forward to those in 2019. This year, we will be gather at Petite Violette Restaurant on April 18, with a reception starting at 6pm and dinner starting at 7pm.

We have the honor of hosting Prof. Michael Hunter from GaTech’s School of Civil and Environmental Engineering, whose talk is entitled, “Driverless Vehicles and The Future of Transportation.” His discussion on the disruptions, impacts, and challenges of driverless cars on current infrastructure are certain to be engaging.

IEEE-Atlanta at the Atlanta Science Festival

IEEE-Atlanta sponsored the Curious Kids Zone at the Atlanta Science Festival’s Exploration Expo on March 23 in Piedmont Park. Thanks to everyone that came out and blew a bubble, made a robot pin, spun the Wheel of Engineering, and made our day in Piedmont Park amazing!
