GROWing Software and Skills – Talk by Andy Hunt on June 23rd

Saturday, June 11th, 2016

It’s time for a practical, pragmatic, real-world take on software development and programming.  The GROWS™ Method goes beyond one-size-fits-all rules, mis-applied “agile” and rigid adherence to previous “best practices” that may no longer apply. GROWS embraces a growth skills model, an empirical approach to process adoption and technical solutions, andy-talking scale 25organizational inclusiveness, and features Tracer-Bullet Development to minimize risk.

Join Andy Hunt, author and co-author of nine books including The Pragmatic Programmer, one of the 17 authors of the Agile Manifesto and co-founder of The Pragmatic Bookshelf publishers, for this exciting look at a better way to develop software, people, and organizations.

Co-sponsored by Boise State University and IEEE Boise Computer Society.

When: June 23, 2016, 12:00pm
Where: ENGR Room 110 (Engineering Bldg), Boise State University — Note room change!
