Conference Theme  – “Probabilistic Methods: Practical Approaches for Managing Risk and Uncertainty in the Electric Power Industry”

The main focus of the 2018 PMAPS International Conference is about presenting and sharing the experience, ideas, and research results in the area of power system uncertainties related to all three power segments (generation, transmission and distribution).

In addition to the strong technical content of this conference, PMAPS has a strong educational component. Graduate students use this forum to present research results and learn from others. After a highly selective process, authors of the best research papers are invited to present at the conference to a prestigious jury, who selects final winners.

The program of the 15^th PMAPS conference www.pmaps2018.org includes tutorials, plenary session, panel sessions, and invited and regular paper sessions attractive to participants in academia and industry. The IEEE Power and Energy Society is a technical sponsor of this conference. Additionally, there will be social activities and a plenary session with key players from industry and the academic world.
