CALL FOR PAPERS

Call for Papers: IEEE Green Energy and Systems Conference (IGESC 2013, Currently IEEE GESS)

Date: November 25, 2013 (Monday)

Location: Pyramid, CSULB, Long Beach, CA 90840, USA

The proposed conference intends to bring together researchers and practitioners from relevant fields to present and disseminate ongoing research for the green energy and associated technology. This year the focus would be on efficient utilization of energy and storage systems. The conference will cover multi-disciplinary topics at both theoretical and applied aspects.

Conference topics include but are not limited to: integration of distributed generation resources, solar energy, biogas, fuel cells, smart grids, power systems, communications, signal processing, power quality, instrumentation, demand response, electrical vehicles, energy storage, advanced metering infrastructure, real-time control methods, and environmental related topics, etc..

Audience: The conference aims to attract researchers and practitioners from cross-disciplinary and relevant research communities involved in green energy and associated technology. For researchers, this conference opens up application opportunity and technological challenges. For solution developers and providers of specific application domain, this conference provides an opportunity for them to convey their needs and requirements, and also obtain first-hand information on the latest advances in technologies, prototypes, and application exemplars.

Submission & On-line Publication: All accepted conference papers will be published in the form of open access contents and the supplemental proceedings. We invite two types of submissions for this conference: Full Technical Papers (5-6 pages) and Student Posters. All submissions should be formatted according to the IEEE standard Word or Latex Template. A copy of the paper template can be downloaded here.
