Subject: testing engagement for new IEEE collaboration tool
Hello Jacqueline,
As you may be aware, IEEE is building a new collaboration tool that will facilitate networking capabilities, enhance career building opportunities, and aggregate researching/authoring tools to increase productivity.
At each phase of the development process, we are looking to test various aspects of the tool. You have been identified by a group of volunteers and staff as a great candidate for feedback based on your experience in two or more of the following areas: networking, career building, and/or authoring/researching, your geographic location, and your career stage.
If you are able to participate, we would request your participation in hour-long remote testing sessions in the months of May, July, September, and November (1 hour each, for a total of 4 hours), scheduled around your availability. We would like testers to participate in all four sessions for consistency. The scope of this effort would include:
· Having access to a stable Internet connection and phone service for each remote session. Some sessions will be conducted one-on-one with a moderator, while others will be conducted through a self-paced user testing tool.
· Walking through a set of tasks within the tool and giving your opinion of the experience. The feedback will help us identify issues and validate positive features.
If you are interested, please e-mail Daivee Patel <deleted>, our User Experience Analyst. She will walk through the next steps with you and schedule your first session. The user testing team will keep me informed of those who are able to participate.
We would greatly appreciate your valuable feedback in this process and hope you are available to participate in this very exciting project.
Best,
Monica
