IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology
One of the premier publications on connected vehicles is the IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, a Q1 publication in the Journal Citation Reports with an impact factor of 2.243.
The IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology is dedicated to vehicular technology. This scholarly journal consists of high-quality technical manuscripts on advances in the state-of-the-art of vehicular technology in the areas of: wireless communications and systems (the use of mobile radios on land, sea, and air), vehicular electronics (the use of electronic or electrical components and systems for control, propulsion, or auxiliary functions), and transportation systems (the use of electronic technology for the control of ground transportation systems). With the launch of the IEEE Connected Vehicle Initiative, and to reinforce the leading technical role of VTS in connected vehicles, the Transactions has launched a new Connected Vehicles Series. The Connected Vehicles Series publishes twice (June and December) annually with first installment in December 2015, and aims to present a collection of high-quality research papers on the state-of-the-art in the emerging technologies for connected vehicles, the latest development in standardizations and regulations, as well as the potential services and applications for connected vehicles.
The Transactions encourages theoretical contributions (including new techniques, concepts, and analyses) and practical contributions (including system experiments, prototypes, and new applications). You can find instructions for paper submission and templates in TVT website.
If you are interested to propose a special issue in the Transactions, you can contact the Editor in Chief, Prof. Yuguang “Michael” Fang.
