Program Description: –

BIO:  Bob Shapiro is an active IEEE member/volunteer and a wireless professional with over 25 years of technical and management experience. Expertise in RF Engineering in a simulcast environment. Registered Professional Engineer in the state of Texas, Fellow of the Radio Club of America, Senior Member and Volunteer/Leader of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Volunteer of the Association of Police and Communications Officials, National Public Safety Telecom Council, Telecommunications Industry Association and the Radio Club of America. Technical specialties include all aspects of the Wireless and RF Engineering ecosystem such as radio coverage, site development, antenna systems, and Project Management. Additional expertise in Technical Solutions Marketing and Standards processes. Recent projects in Positive Train Control with PTC220 and Law Enforcement and Investigations unit of the US Forest Service.
