Abstract:

“How Connectivity will Drive the NexGen of Networks and Data”

Connectivity is at the core of today’s telecommunication industry. With the expansion of M2M, IoT, smart devices and private network offerings, how we connect and extend our network capabilities will not only drive the NexGen of products, services and solutions but will be a key factor in how OEMs and MNOs build and support future networks. WiFi now accounts for 80% of wireless usage and more industry players are utilizing unlicensed spectrum to increase the supply of bandwidth for connectivity services. All these trends have MNOs and OEMs working diligently to stay on top of innovative technology that moves us from a locked location (LAN) to a mobile, data driven society. Mr. Pandit will discuss how Ericsson and their partners and customers are moving forward with business models that overcome network constraints, high cost of bandwidth and allow the consumer to be a driving force in adopting technology.
