The 2014 Global IPv6 Forum Summit will take place March 27 and 28, 2014 in Richardson, Texas on the campus of The University of Texas at Dallas. Feature keynote speakers are Vinton G Cerf, ‘Father of the Internet’, and Latif Ladid, President of the IPv6 Forum. Other confirmed speakers include Tim Martin, Owen DeLong, Jeff Carrell, Stephen Lagerholm, Ravi Prakash and Jeff Doyle. About IPv6 at UTD

The University of Texas at Dallas is very proud to be hosting its second IPv6 event, and to have been successful at attracting to the Summit two such eminent Keynote speakers. This event heralds the fact that UTD is committed to becoming a major center in Texas for the offering of IPv6 certification workshops, in collaboration with the Texas IPv6 Task Force and to soon beginning to offer IPv6-related courses on campus.

About TXv6TF

The Texas IPv6 Task Force (TXv6TF) is a Texas non-profit corporation dedicated to the advancement and propagation of IPv6 (Internet Protocol, version 6) in Texas and surrounding states. Comprised of individual volunteers, rather than corporate sponsors, the TXv6TF mission is to provide technical leadership and innovative thought for the successful integration of IPv6 into all facets of networking and telecommunications infrastructure, present and future. TXv6TF is recognized as a 501(c)(3) Public Charity by the Internal Revenue Service. Donations are tax-deductible under sections 2055, 2106 and 2502 of the Internal Revenue Code.
