Who Are We:

Eta Kappa Nu (HKN) is the international honors society under IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) for Electrical and Computer Engineering majors (Computer Science included).

Similar to IEEE and many other honor societies, HKN has many chapters across the nation affiliated with certain universities. Our chapter, Iota Zeta, provides academic services to non-members and prospective members participate in activities to nurture academic and involvement status within our chapter.

What We Do:

Our current focus at HKN is the professional development of our members and involvement in the local community. By refining our resumes, honing our communication skills, and connecting one another to a variety of internship opportunities, we are able to take ourselves one step closer to our careers.

To stay involved with our community, we reach out to local schools and students on campus to assist them in the areas that relate to our fields of study. Inspire School of Arts & Sciences in one school that we are currently collaborating with by helping their Robotics Club design and troubleshoot their robots for the upcoming VEX competitions.
