Houston Section at Science Engineering Fair Houston (SEFH) 2019

The 60th annual Science Engineering Fair of Houston (SEFH) was held Saturday, February 23rd, 2019, in the George R Brown Convention Center.   This year’s SEFH represented 150 Texas middle and high schools had 815 science projects submitted and had over 1000 students participate!   The Houston Section of IEEE came out in force to volunteer as place judges in the Electrical, Mechanical, and Civil categories.  Place judges work in teams to determine which projects get advanced to the next rounds of the competition.  Pictured above (only a few of the IEEE Houston section present), during the morning phase one judging are from left to right:  Vincent Palughi, Erick Funes, Johnathan Miller, Ernest Njouondo, and Moriah Hargrove Anders.

IEEE Houston Section continues to support SEFH, it was a fun and rewarding volunteer experience.
