IEEE HOU Sec: 2016 Volunteer Appreciation Dinner

On Thursday, January 12, 2017 the IEEE Houston Section held a Volunteer Appreciation Dinner for its 2016 Committee, Society, and Group Chairpersons. For more than 80 years the IEEE Houston Section volunteer leaders in chaired position have been serving our Houston Section, this was especially special in 2016 because of the great growth in Membership, Mentor Ship, and Senior Membership. “We take time out to honor the sacrifice our chairpersons take in giving their generous commitment of time, support and inspiration to the success of the IEEE Houston Section” says Kheng Swee Goh, Chair of Houston Section.

A Volunteer is defined as “a person who freely offers to take part in an enterprise or undertake a task.”

A Leadership is defined as “the action of leading a group of people or an organization.”

Volunteer leaders are always needed, if you have an interest to become more involved in the Houston Section Contact Us.
