Merry Christmas everyone!

Young Professionals Updates: 

The YP Whole Person Development event held in November was a success. Attendees indulged in excellent brews and came to plenty of conclusions regarding confidence, vulnerability, leading, and (most importantly) how to balance the three in the workplace to achieve professional success.

YP is on a winter vacation right now so that our members can focus on loved ones and friends during the holiday season.

Upcoming events:

• Rising Stars conference Jan 6-8, 2018: If you are planning on attending email YP Chair moriah.s.hargrove.anders@ieee.org so that she can organize a Houston networking social among attendees.
•  Keep an eye out for the next event in our Whole Person Development series – New Year, Ambitious Goals. This event will be a goal setting workshop following certain philosophies outlined in the Passion Planner. Date/Location will be released when finalized.
• SEFH Volutneering : Apply to be a judge for the Houston Science and Engineering Fair, or apply for a later shift of non-judge volunteering. Participating volunteers will be invited for a post-judging happy hour around 4PM! https://www.sefhouston.org/judge-application.
