Prairie View A&M University Annual IEEE AI Workshop Conference

On Friday, March 22, 2019 IEEE Prairie View A&M University and IEEE University of Houston Student Branches partner to host an IEEE Workshop Conference centered around the revolution of Artificial Intelligence.

The workshop conference was established to help students understand more about these emerging technologies and the growing field of opportunities available in computer science, computer networking, electronics, electrical engineering, chemical engineering, and mechanical engineering to name a few. Industry Subject Mater Experts and Technical Professional organizations like IEEE, ASME, ACM and others shared some of the challenges and opportunities with AI (Artificial Intelligence).

Some of our IEEE HOU Sec. members facilitated a number of different seminars.

Moriah Hargove Anders, HOU Sec. EXCOM Secretary presented on “Leveraging your IEEE Member Benefits as an Up-and-Coming Young Professional”. Moriah is also an Patent Agent at Fletcher Yoder Law Firm.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Jeffry Handal, IEEE Standards Association Board Member presented on “AI: A digital Frontier for All?”. Jeffry also works for CISCO Systems as a Consulting Systems Engineer.
