IEEESTEC – 7th International Students’ Projects Conference

IEEE and EESTEC organized 7th International Students’ Projects Conference. It was held in November in Niš, Serbia. Fifty projects in Computer Science, Automatic Control,  Power Engineering, Telecommunications, Electronics and Microelectronics were presented, and were a great opportunity for Masters and PhD students to get a confirmation of their success as a young researchers.


The IEEE IAS Student Branch Sarajevo paper submissions were  „Inspection of textile failure using Gabor filters“ by Almir Vardo and  „Speed control of DC motor“ by Fuad Hadarević. Students from Sarajevo saw this conference as a chance to meet students from other Universities and countries, expand their horizons, and boost their experience in order to reach their dream jobs.


During this visit, students visited many cultural attractions, which are among the oldest in Balkans.They also met a lot of other young engineers and scientists, and discussed about the possibility to do some future projects together. Therefore it was agreed that some students visit Sarajevo in March to continue growing this successiful coopeation.
