DUTh SBC: 2016 Lecture on “The role, the improvement and the challenges of Department of Human Resources (HR) and its approach within a successful interview.”
The previous May, a speech about HR was conducted by Mr. Konstantinos Georgiadis, who specializes in human resources management, with experience in consulting services and HR management companies in Greece and abroad. This speech, was focusing on the feature of HR management, which now evaluate and train the employees individually, with great attention to their skills. Some keywords to understand the importance of this sector are the recruitment of a business, evaluation, education, communication and finally the effort to develop good working relationships.
Within this discussion, advices on giving a successful interview, were noticed. Initially, during the interview, considered whether near the corporate culture is the candidate. Also, some useful tips were given, such as the general answers to the questions are inappropriate, as well as to avoid the use of subjective concepts.
As part of becoming more understandable the way to give a successful interview in the near future for the students of the university, a student of them answered voluntarily a few question to the speaker. The entire process had the form of a virtual interview, where Mr. Georgiadis tried to notice the most common mistakes that occur.
Finally, very important was the reference to the correct writing of a CV, which is good to be accompanied by letters of recommendation. Since the speech addressed to students, this is a very important piece that will engage them in the near future for their professional rehabilitation.
