Electric vehicle integration in distribution systems

The activity was a lecture delivered by Kalle Rauma, a researcher from the Technical University of Dortmund, Germany. The lecture was about some experiences of electric vehicle integration in Europe, with emphasis on the work currently developed in the Technical University of Dortmund. Some of the topics addressed during the talk were:

  • Controlled charging
  • Mobility-as-a-service
  • Shared vehicle services
  • Tendencies and drawbacks of current technology

The activity was held at the University of the Andes in a classroom, accessible to previously inscribed people. Fifty-five people including students, professors and professionals of the University of the Andes, National University of Colombia, Universidad de la Salle, Escuela de Ingeniería Julio Garavito, Universidad Javeriana and Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano attended the activity. The activity started at 6:00 P.M and finished at 7:45 P.M.

The activity was organized by the University of the Andes IAS student branch chapter and the Colombian IAS professional chapter.
