MATRIX-BASED EVALUATION OF THE POWER PLANTS

On 22nd February the Budapest University of Technology and Economics Student Branch Chapter organized the first lecture of the Ferenc Zipernovszky memorial semester which was about the new matrix-based evaluation of the Power Plants. The lecturer was Dr. Zoltán Korényi, professor of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics.

UNIFERRO LTD. VISITATION

The Budapest University of Technology and Economics Student Branch Chapter organized its first site visit of the Ferenc Zipernovszky Memorial Semester 22nd of February. The participants could discover the factory where boilers and other heat-service units are produced in Zalaszentgrót. Our guide who was Csaba Pődör, the CEO of the company, led us through the parts of the plant.

Newborn IEEE STUDENT BRANCH

IEEE IAS ENIM Student Branch Chapter wasn’t happier and more excited having heard about the foundation of a new student branch in the same region (Monastir). IEEE ENIM SB and its officers responded for the call of their colleagues and future fellow IEEE members in ISIMM University (Higher Institute of Mathematics and Computer Science).

The Future’s Engineer

IEEE IAS ENIM chapter in collaboration with IEEE WIE ENIM SAG organized a non-technical event under the name of “The future’s engineer”. The event duration was two days on the 19th and the 20th of January 2019 at ” EL MOSTAKBAL” school Sousse.
40 pupils from 4 different schools (10 from each school) participated in both days activities.

Industrial visit to Cynapsys

National Engineering school of Sfax is largely adopting industrial visits as a value-added learning method for management students. Learning from textbooks, lectures and other study material does not suffice for holistic learning. Practical, hands-on learning is essential for better understanding of work processes and business functions.
