There are a number of activities and programs available to students. Student travel to conferences can be subsidized. Check individual conference websites for specific programs as each conference has different rules. For instance, see here for the ECCE or APEC conference. The formation of Student Chapters at local universities is encouraged, see here for more information. Such chapters can organize events, invite speakers, and generally promote power conversion and applications at the local university level.
