Plug Load Query

The American Society of Healthcare Engineers (ASHE) is funding a shorter term/initial study of healthcare electrical loads from the main services to the buildings, down to, and including, the branch circuit level.  JRH Engineering & Consulting and Standards Michigan are two of the firms working on this project.

There is a need to gather data from as many sources as possible.  To that end, we are soliciting input from others.  So if you can assist with any information on this, please respond.  ASHE is doing to do this to allow them to assist in editing NEC 220 and 517 by supplying needed data so electrical distribution systems are not as oversized as they currently are..

Are there any organizations that are tracking building feeder and branch circuit loads?   It is common to track service substation loads from the main breaker (for billing purposes) but apparently less common for the metering of the downstream loads from the service meter — down to and including branch circuits (typically ahead of interior distribution equipment such as panelboards).
