Bucharest can be reached by several means of transport:

BY AIR

Bucharest Henri Coanda International Airport (OTP) is situated 16.5 km North of Bucharest center and is the largest Romanian airport, serving 67 external destinations and 9 domestic destinations. Currently the airport has one terminal divided into three halls (sometimes referred as distinct terminals) (International Departures Hall, International Arrivals Hall and the Domestic Flights Hall – at the ground level of the Arrivals Hall). Henri Coanda was a Romanian inventor, aerodynamics pioneer and builder of an experimental aircraft.

 

BY TRAIN
Bucharest is the major hub of Romanian National Railway Co. The main station is North Station, which serves Bucharest with connections to every part of Romania as well as international connections with Vienna, Prague, Budapest, Sofia, Belgrade, Chisinau, etc.

 

 

 

BY CAR
Bucharest is the major road hub as it is the starting point of most Romanian highways and European roads linking the city with every Romanian regions, as well as with the neighboring countries.
