Dr. Miles delivered the news that UNLV research Foundation is poised to evaluate creations, inventions and new product offerings. This foundation is set up to assist, partnership and be part of networking with the market place ventures with startups. AVP Miles is setting up the infrastructure at UNLV to assist the public in Las Vegas to achieve goals that benefit the inventor, small business person, and the market movers and to benefit UNLV.

Professor O’Neil spoke of the successes and failures of bringing products to market in BIG business, e.g. Iridium and Globalstars, and SPRINT and AT&T. Prof. Bob gave some insight on protecting intellectual property, patent writing and predictions of future trends.
