Topic: Arc-Flash Safety—an utility Experience
Speaker: William Esposito, P.E.
Arc-Flash Safety Compliance—an utility Experience Arc flash is a flash over of electric current that can reach as high as 35,000°F (19,400°C.) Arc flash safety is a main concern for electric utility workers who have to work with energized equipment all the time. Mr. Esposito will explain the nature and causes of arc flash and share the experience in determining the proper arc flash protections.
