The second annual IEEE Rising Stars Conference will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada at the Excalibur Hotel & Casino on January 2-4, 2016. The goal of this conference is to connect and inspire students and young professionals through networking, tech talks, and professional development workshops. There is a large diversity of topics that will be covered, ranging from 3D Printing to Cybersecurity to In-Space Manufacturing to Workplace Challenges. Participants will also gain experience in teamwork, creativity, and entrepreneurialism through the “Pitch Your Team Idea” competition. Participating companies include, but are not limited to, Hewlett-Packard, Google, Southwest Research Institute, Qualcomm, Raytheon, Dolby, Made in Space, Virgin Galactic, Intel, and Orbital ATK.
