For those of you looking to do something this weekend, there are two events that need your help:

MATHCOUNTS

Memphis-Mathcounts-Logo-21

The Memphis Chapter of the Tennessee Society of Professional Engineers will be hosting our annual MATHCOUNTS competition on February 6, 2016, and we need your help!

This year’s competition will be held at Southwest Tennessee Community College (Macon Campus). Your commitment would be from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm or so, depending on your role in the competition. We need all sorts of people – proctors, graders, runners, etc. If you are available we can put you to work. I can send more details if you’d like – just ask.

A few important details:

1. You don’t have to be a math whiz to be a volunteer. That’s the kids’ job.
2. We have free pizza!

Please contact Drake Danley (Drake.Danley@kimley-horn.com) if you are available to help at your earliest convenience. As I mentioned, if you have any questions at all about the competition or your duties as a volunteer, just shoot me him email. You can also check us out on the web at www.memphismathcounts.org
