Parking passes will be provided at the event so parking in the Zach Curlin Parking Garage (505 Zach H. Curlin St) will be free of charge.

The seminar is designed for both experienced and beginning engineers and technicians. The session contains two independent sessions, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. • Introduction to GRID Automation Portfolio
• Fundamentals of Protection – The 5 S’s, zones of protection and coordination
• Application of Instrument Transformers (VT’s, CT’s, and Ground CT’s)
• Motor Protection –thermal model & how to implement it.

Lunch 12:00 – 1:00 PM (LUNCH WILL BE PROVIDED BY GE AND Doby Associates)

• AFTERNOON SESSION (1:00 – 4:00)
• Introduction to DGA (Dissolved GAS Analysis and online Monitoring) and Asset Performance Management
• Fundamentals of Arc Flash and Mitigation techniques
• Lessons Learned Through Event Analysis
