New Impact Factor 2.485!

IEEE Transactions on Nanotechnology (TNANO) is pleased to announce a new 2016 impact factor (IF) of 2.485*! This represents 46% increase from the 2015 IF, upholding the TNANO’s status as one of the leading peer-reviewed engineering journals in the field of nanotechnology. The official journal of IEEE Nanotechnology Council (NTC), TNANO publishes a collection of peer-reviewed articles and short reports (i.e., letters) of original research and perspectives and reviews and mini-reviews on emerging topics. TNANO offers rapid peer-review and can publish an accepted article online through IEEE Xplore® as soon as it is submitted in final form. Web-published papers have DOI (Digital Object Identifier), and are fully citable and downloadable.

Make sure your manuscript has the impact and gets the attention it deserves by submitting your article to TNANO today. For complete instructions for authors, visit the TNANO website at http://tnano.org/.

IEEE NANO 2017 offers IEEE Student Travel Fellowships

Monday, June 12th, 2017

The 17th IEEE International Conference on Nanotechnology (IEEE NANO 2017) will be held at the Pittsburgh Marriott City Center in Pittsburgh, USA, July 25-28, 2017.

On behalf of the organizing committee, we are glad to announce that the IEEE Nanotechnology Council (NTC) has decided to offer a travel fellowship to support IEEE student members for attending IEEE NANO 2017.

The travel fellowship will cover the accommodation up to five room nights (shared with another student) for about 40 IEEE student members.  If you are an IEEE student member and have interest in applying for this fellowship, please complete the IEEE NANO 2017 Travel Fellowship Application form and return it along with your resume by June 15.

If you have already applied for the NSF travel fellowship, you will be automatically considered for this fellowship, so you don’t need to submit your application for this fellowship.

Yours Sincerely,
General chair:                    Guangyong Li (University of Pittsburgh)
Sponsorship chair:            Walter Hu (University of Texas at Dallas)
Travel award chair:           Qing Gu (University of Texas at Dallas)
