Report from IEEE Conference on Cyber-Security, held on October, 11th 2016, at Public Procurement Center, Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO)

pic1The IEEE Conference on Cyber-Security was kick-started with an opening address by the Conference moderator and IEEE Africa Chair, Engr. Prof. Gloria Chukwudebe, who gave an overview of what cyber-security is all about especially in this modern age of cyber and internet oriented businesses and social activities. This was followed by five video presentations titled – Intellectual Property Protection in the Digital Collaboration Era; Exclusive Interview with Justine Bone, the Future-State; Managing the Security unknowns; Panel discussion: The Ever-Evolving Threat Landscape and Securing Data in an unsecured world, in that order. Group discussions, comments, suggestions and questions followed after each presentation, while group photographs and tea-break happened within the presentations.
