Annual Student Science Award Dinner & Lecture “The James Webb Space Telescope”

This event is sponsored by the National Capital Section of the Optical Society of America and co-sponsored by the IEEE Wash/NoVA Photonics Chapter. It is the annual student science Fair Award dinner that is held at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center Recreation Center on Good Luck Road, Greenbelt , MD. Science fair winners are invited to bring their exhibits for display. In addition the Graduate Student Poster Contest winners are invited to present their posters. There is an invited speaker as described. Note there is a fee based catered dinner with a $15 charge for general attendees to be paid at the door. 8:00 – 9PM – Featured talk – Dr. Jonathan Gardner/ NASA Goddard
“The James Webb Space Telescope”
9:00 – 9:30 Dispersal.
