IEEE 5G Summit

5G is a rapidly evolving and important technology. This summit is designed to give attendees the opportunity to learn about the architecture and promise of 5G wireless networks. No prior familiarity with the technology is required and the intent is to give the attendees a solid foundation in the technology, the current issues and the key user benefits.

Continental breakfast, coffee and lunch will be served. Please register below so we have an accurate count for food.  

The meeting will be held in the conference room upstairs. As you look at the front of the building enter the doors on the left of the Museum entrance. Go to the lobby on the left and up the stairs.

There is plenty of free parking. Please be sure to park in the parking lot to the left of the buildings. Please do not park in front of the museum.

After the 5G Summit please consider enjoying the College Park Aviation Museum at the worlds oldest operating airport.

11:15 – Transport: Reza Vaez-Ghaemi – Viavi Solutions – Overview of transport network related to 5G.  Emerging backhaul networks and SLA’s. Will cover standards such as eCPRI, xran, IEEE 802.1cm, IEEE 1914.1/1914.3, and G.826x/G.827x

12:30 – Lunch
