Officer Leadership Training – South Area

IEEE South Area Leadership Training Seminar

Interested in being more active in the IEEE but not sure how?  This seminar will teach you about the practices, policies, and tools used to organize events, run meetings, and take on a greater leadership role.  The focus is on the nuts-and-bolts of running activites; sessions include:

* Overivew of the IEEE and Region 2

* Primarily responsibilities of section and chapter officer positions: Chair, Vice Chair, Treasurer, and Secretary

* Tools and techniques for running an effective chapter

* Parliamentary procedures

* Financial management

* Tools

Parking is free and lunch will be provided.

Visit the Aviation Museum – College Park is the oldest operating airport in the world.

The Wright Brothers taught flying here. The museum has a fascinating collection of aviation related items and aircraft. Admission is $5 and it is open till 5pm.
