Tricks of the trade: Making neural control theory work for therapeutic neurorehabilitation

While many studies have shown that technology does not add to benefiting patients, several things have worked in clinical tests. This presentation will trace some of recent encouraging studies, while also showing some of the techniques for making feedback technology and robotics foster positive change in the patients we see. I will end with some suggestions for how we may try to change research and clinical practice in order to facilitate the discovery needed.
