Program Details

In 2018 the NSW Section commenced working towards establishing a mentoring program for our student and young professional and women in engineering members. The purpose is to held build networks and opportunities. It provides mentors an opportunity to give back and obtain access to the younger generation IEEE members. It provides mentees an opportunity to network with local mentors and learn and absorb lessons learned from experience.

The program is supported by the NSW Section Mentor Chair Saad Ul Hasan mailto:[email protected] who will assist in the process and help establish the relationships and the journey the mentor and mentee will take.

The four stage process:

Stage 1: Call for mentors

Stage 2: Call for mentees. Registered mentors will be advertised and students, YP’s and WIE’s will apply to a mentor that best fits their direction.

Stage 3: Mentors assess the applications and select mentee/s

Stage 4: A mentor/mentee agreement is formed and the relationship commences.
