IEEE OC Computer Society & OCACM Meeting “Cybersecurity: Tales From The Trenches”

Event Details

• Tales from the trenches – an offensive security professional shares war stories, tips, and tricks from the red team

• Dave Collins will share stories from his experiences as a penetration tester, or professional hacker. In addition to bench hacking
stories, this talk will also include practical tips for how to improve your overall personal security.

Speaker Bio

 
Dave is a consultant in the Risk and Compliance department of Texas-based Accudata Systems and has over seven years experience in
information technology, as well as holding BA degrees in both history and philosophy as well as an MA degree in History, all from Eastern
Washington University. He is also a member of the (ISC)2 and holds the designation Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP).

This meeting will be at the Knobbe Martens’ Irvine offices. Parking validation will be provided to attendees:  parking tickets should be validated at building reception desk upon arrival.
