IEEE would like to invite our members to a tour of the Ozark’s Electric 1 MW SolarONE facility in Springdale on the 21st of June starting at 5:30pm.
Directions to the site (just off of HWY 412, East of Springdale, AR) can be found through Google Maps.
Below is a screen shot of the ONE Solar Facility. The red box is a gravel drive that people can park in. The green box is a grassy area that people can park in as well. If it doesn’t rain the day before, it will be okay for people to park in the grass. There isn’t a limit as to how many can attend the tour. You shouldn’t need any Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), although sun glasses are recommended due to glare.
For those coming from the south (e.g. Fayetteville) we will be meeting at the UA Research and Technology Park (ARTP) just before 5:00p for any who wish to car pool.
