December 5th, 2012Dr. Markus Hofmann of Bell Labs came to give a talk to students at BRHS about his work and the important of innovation in the fields of STEM. He gave many examples worked on by Bell Labs such as the Telstar satellite.

 Dr. Markus Hofmann is the Vice President of Service Infrastructure Research at Bell Labs Research/Alcatel-Lucent in Holmdel, New Jersey, USA. Dr. Hofmann is known for his pioneering work on reliable multicasting over the Internet and for defining and shaping fundamental principles of content networking.
