Call for Participation: Writing Studies and IRBs

Johanna Hillen, PhD candidate at the University of South Florida, Dr. Joe Moxley, her advisor, and Dr. Norbert Elliot, are looking for your participation in a research study on Writing Studies and IRBs, and hope you will support this CCCC Research Initiative study (USF Protocol #25347). They are looking for a diversity of experiences with Institutional Review Boards – even if you haven’t filed a protocol before – and hoping to establish a discipline-wide understanding of Writing Studies’ researchers’ interactions with, and perspectives of, Institutional Review Boards.

Participants will receive a $10 Amazon gift card for completing the 15-30 minute survey. You may be recruited to participate in a follow-up interview as well (additional compensation). Please click here  to access the secure data collection tool. You will be presented with an Informed Consent to review before you can proceed into the survey. Participation in this research is entirely voluntary.

Thanks for your time and consideration! We hope you’ll participate and support this CCCC funded research. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Johanna Phelps-Hillen
