Electrical Engineering IEEE Student Quality Improvement Programme (EE ISQIP), a weeklong training session was held from July 10-16, 2018, under the banner of IEEE Power and Energy Society (PES) Student Branch (SB) Chapter College of Engineering Chengannur. Supported by IEEE PES MDI 2018

EE_ISQIP’18 provided a solid podium for both technical and managerial session for the overall development of the students. It offers rewarding and potentially lucrative opportunities by making their concepts exquisite through superlative training sessions. IEEE PES CEC has always attempted to put emphasis on hands on learning and training for the students.

The weeklong workshops covered – Electrical CAD & machines drawing on the first and second days, Fundamentals of Electrical garage on third and fourth days and Installation & Design of Solar system on the fifth day. Finally an industrial visit to Cochin International Airport for better practical learning exposure. About 60 delegates and 15 volunteers involved in the program

EE_ISQIP have improved the technical knowledge of the attendees and open them up to further learning in the Electrical Engineering field. And had successfully instructed and trained young professional students in various aspects of Electrical Engineering. Thus increased the membership retention and active PES volunteers partaking in every activity or event organised afterwards.
