IEEE PES Student Branch Chapter UET Taxila celebrated PES Day 2019. The ceremony consisted of introductory seminar about PES, benefits of PES and future plan of PES were also discussed. Students were also briefed about IEEE and PES membership and the procedure to get PES membership. There was also a cabinet meeting of IEEE PES and WiP (Women in Engineering) group of UET Taxila. Ambassador IEEE PES Day 2019 was the team lead of this event. A short group video for PES world Tour was also shoot. Students were highly encouraged to become IEEE and PES members. The activity consisted of colouring by the kids in colour book provided to them. The sole purpose of this activity was to impart the knowledge of renewable energy to the young minds. The colour book consisted of such pictures which shows the importance of energy conservation. Kids were also briefed about the process of energy generation using conventional means and difference in generation by renewable means. Young minds were nourished to practice energy saving activities in their daily routine and to use renewable energy as much as possible. IEEE PES encourages young students to apply technical knowledge for the betterment and advancement of society. Ambassador for IEEE PES Day 2019 also participated in this activity.
