The workshop aims to provide engineering students with training on the main characteristics of a solar panel installation and how it must be executed, as well as presenting the participants, through the experience of the exhibitors, the procedures necessary to carry out a solar installation project in Panama.

The workshop consisted of an introduction of the equipment present in a solar installation, the different types of solar systems, a presentation on the policies for solar systems in Panama and a hands-on experience on the procedure of how to perform an off-grid solar installation. The participants had the opportunity to install 100 W solar modules, which was only possible thanks to the grant obtained through the PES member driven initiative.
