Updates on the PES Corporate Engagement Program

IEEE Power & Energy Society (PES) proudly welcomed three new Corporate Engagement Participants: Commonwealth Edison Company (ComEd), Quanta Technology LLC and Vermont Electric Power Company (VELCO) during a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony at the IEEE PES General Meeting in Atlanta, GA on August 5, 2019. The IEEE PES Corporate Engagement Program is a worldwide program intended to engage the industry organizations in IEEE PES activities in a formal way; facilitate the involvement of corporate employees and leaders with IEEE PES activities, membership and programs. The Corporate Engagement is an important IEEE initiative that provides additional value to corporations that join through well-defined programs and encourages these organizations to actively participate in the development of the technologies and standards that will make the electric grid more resilient, sustainable, and secure.
