Electrical Engineering IEEE Student Quality Improvement Programme, a week-long training session, was held from July 10-16, 2018, under the banner of IEEE PES Student Branch SB Chapter College of Engineering Chengannur.

The ESSB Committee believes that this was an extraordinary year in our development and progress. Attendance at our General Meetings increased by an average of 50% over 2016.

Canadian PES chapters are in IEEE Region 7 (R7). There are about 1800 IEEE PES members in this Region. The Chapter Representatives for Canada-East is Branislav Djokic and for Canada-West is Alex Nassif. Jahangir Khan is the Region Representative for R7.

“Engineering is the practical application of science and technology for the betterment on Mankind.” I have that on my office wall and believe we, as engineers, should always abide by that message.
