About PES YP
IEEE Young Professionals is the group of IEEE members and volunteers who have graduated from their first professional degree within the past 15 years. It is an international community, whose members are interested in elevating their professional image, expanding their global network, connecting with peers locally and giving back to their community. Since it encompasses all members from recent university graduates to experienced professionals and entrepreneurs, the group is highly diverse in what it has to offer. Currently there are more than 7900+ IEEE PES YP members

IEEE Young Professionals Hall of Fame Award is meant to recognize active and inspiring Young Professional Affinity Groups worldwide, based on their activities. Main factors taken into account during evaluation of submitted nominations include vitality of the group measured in the amount and quality of organized impactful activities, collaboration with other IEEE organizational units, industry & academia in order to facilitate engagement of members of all grades, and new inspiring ideas that help grow the Society Young Professionals community.
