2017 IEEE Region 1 Annual Student Conference

On behalf of the IEEE Region 1 Student Activities Committee, we would like to welcome you to the 2017 IEEE Region 1 Student Activities Conference at University of Buffalo (SUNY), Buffalo NY on April 7-9, 2017. The conference objective is to encourage student competition and provide an opportunity for the students to network and learn from other students from across the IEEE Region 1 (Northeastern United States), while applying practical engineering knowledge in the various competitions.

Shared (4 students per room) hotel accommodations will be included in the registration fee, on a first come-first served basis, for those students who have to travel move than 100 miles each way. Teams will be expected to carpool when traveling to the event and may request a ‘team’ shared room. All student participants need to register and pay the conference fee before a room will be assigned. Hotel accommodations do not apply to faculty or local participants. However, if a room is needed, you must reserve your room through our Master-billed room block at a nightly rate of $120 (for Friday and Saturday), and reimburse the Region for your room.
