Subject: Re: 2016 PACE udpates

Hello Pei-jung,

There is not going to be an IEEE-USA meeting this year. IEEE-USA instead decided to allocate the funds to promote students and Young Professional participation in IEEE. What we have is IEEE-USA Future Leaders Forum (intended for students and Young Professionals)at New Orleans in July:

http://futureleaders.ieeeusa.org/

In Region 6 we have allocated some funds to provide travel assistance to students and Young Professionals though PACE project. Each Section of the Region 6 may submit a PACE request form to request Region’s matching fund.

You may promote the Forum to your student branches and Young Professionals. Funding request, however, needs to come from the Section.

Students need to contact their Section for support so that the Section would submit a PACE request.
Region 6 would  provide 50% of the funding (through PACE Project) for a student and a Young Professional from each of its Section to attend the Forum. The other 50% would come from the requesting Section budget

Please informed them that Early Bird Registration for the FLF ends on March 31st and the registration fee increases by $100 after that day.

Your PACE request form is incorrect, the PACE form is available from the IEEE-USA PACE website:
